A Delta flight bound for Amsterdam was forced to make an emergency landing on July 30, after the aircraft encountered “significant" turbulence, injuring 25 people on-board.
The A330-900, which originated in Salt Lake City and was bound for Amsterdam, landed safely at Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport and was met by paramedics upon arrival to evaluate passengers and crew.
The 25 injured passengers were transported to local hospitals for evaluation and care. Delta confirmed that all seven crew members who were taken to hospital after the flight landed were treated and released. All customers who were evaluated at hospital and willing to share their status with Delta have also been released.
There were 275 passengers and 13 crew members on the aircraft.
Delta said it is now cooperating with the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) on an investigation into the incident.
