Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China (Comac) has received several bids from engine manufacturers for its C929 widebody passenger aircraft.
Reuters reports that bids have been made by General Electric; Pratt & Whitney and Rolls-Royce, although other bids are rumoured to have come from Russia’s Aviadvigatel and China’s ACAE.
The C929 team are evaluating bids with an aim to make a decision by the end of this year.
