The share prices of Chinese carriers all fell on Monday trading. Shandong Airlines fell 10% and Hainan Airlines 8.3%, while the "big three" state-owned carriers experienced declines around 5%.
Skymark fell 1% on its announcement it planned to order an extra nine more A380s. Qantas shares continued to slip on the news its fleet of A380s would remain grounded for a further 48 hours; they were down 2.4% on the close. Thai Airways dropped 2.1% on news of a worse-than-expected third-quarter net profit.
