The Polish government has disclosed that Boeing has offered compensation to Polish LOT Airlines for the grounding of its 787 aircraft.
Speaking on Polish radio, Deputy Treasury Minister Rafal Baniak said that the grounding had cost the airline over 100 million zlotys ($30 million) in lost business alone. He did not estimate the cost of the grounding, however.
