Speaking at the CAPA – Airline Fleet & Finance Summit 201, Srinivasa Venkat, director finance at Air India, has claimed that the sale and leaseback product is becoming increasingly expensive and the airline has requested the Indian Government to allow it to switch back to financial leasing for its 787 deliveries.
