Airbus announced on December 7 that Air Greenland had become the latest operator of the widebody A330-800 jet, which the carrier will use to fly between the giant island and Denmark.
Airbus said the deal would include component supply and maintenance for the aircraft, which it said would fly on a 30% blend of sustainable aviation fuel.
After the day before conceding it would meet its overall production target for 2022, Airbus said the Air Greenland deal meant it logged over 1,700 "firm orders" for jets in "the A330 family",
