Aer Lingus shareholders have voted in favour of the IASS proposal, which will plough €190.7 million into the airline’s pensions scheme addressing the deficit that presents a “a real and significant risk to the success of the company”.
Aer Lingus said the motion had been passed, with 421,859,027 votes in favour and 1,942,425 against.
