Adria Airways, based in Slovenia, has been put up for sale once again after the Slovenian government issued a request for Expressions of Interests (EOI) for a majority stake in the carrier last week. A previous attempt to sell a 75% stake in the carrier back in 2012 failed to find a suitor. This time around 91.58% of the airline is up for sale.
Adria is a Star Alliance member and carried more than 1.1 million passengers in 2014 across 30 scheduled routes with two A319s, six CRJ900LRs, one CRJ700ER and one CRJ200LR.
