American Airlines and Hawaiian airline Island Air have agreed to begin interline e-ticket sales and airport through check-in for customers of both carriers.
Island Air's codeshare e-ticketing with American Airlines commenced on June 27th.
According to a statement, both airlines will be able to sell each other’s seats and place all connecting flights on a single ticket. Boarding passes can be issued by either airline, and passengers will not have to check in again or transfer baggage until their final destination.
