China's sixth largest private company CEFC China Energy Company has bought a 10% share in Travel Service, operator of airline Smartwings and the second-largest shareholder in Czech Airlines after Korean Air. The Chinese company has indicated it plans to acquire a further 39.92 stake in Travel Service at a later date.
