Australia’s aviation regulator, the Australian Transport Safety Authority, has revealed that three more Rolls-Royce Trent 900 engines have been removed from service for further checks by airlines, although 42 cleared inspections. The ATSA was quick to state that all Qantas Airways engines currently flying had no defects recorded and remain in service. However the regulator did not say which airline’s engines failed the tests.
