Speaking to local media, Charamporn Jotikasthira, president of Thai Airways International, confirmed that the airline has been forced to delay the launch of its first A350-900-operated international route from Bangkok Suvarnabhumi to Melbourne Tullamarine due to delays with the Australian Civil Aviation Safety Authority's (CASA) certification procedures. The launch has been delayed indefinitely until it is approved by Australian officials.
