SMBC Aviation Capital has entered into a sale and leaseback agreement with Dominican Republic-based carrier Arajet for five 737 MAX 8 aircraft.
“This agreement supports our mission to provide safe, efficient, comfortable, and affordable travel options across the Americas,” said Víctor Pacheco Méndez, CEO of Arajet.
These new planes are scheduled to be delivered in 2026 and 2027.
