SkyWorks has reported its fourth quarter 2025 activities across its advisory and asset management platform.
The firm advised a North American low-cost carrier on amendments to its aircraft orderbook, as well as advising a separate North American low-cost airline regarding its commercial, business and fleet plan.
The company performed an analysis of Viva's fleet and operations to support its merger with Volaris.
SkyWorks served as co-financial advisor to the ad hoc committee of secured noteholders and debtor-in-possession lenders in the Spirit Airlines Chapter 11 case, and was engaged by carriers in North America, EMEA, and Asia-Pacific on matters ranging from long-haul aircraft orders and engine selection for A321neo fleets to the sale of 737-800 aircraft.
SkyWorks arranged the sale of four aircraft on behalf of Sierra Echo Aircraft Leasing, including two A220-200s on lease to Batik Air, one 737-900ER on lease to Thai Lion Air and one 787-8 on lease to Aeromexico.
The firm also arranged lease extensions for A320-200 aircraft leased to American Airlines and Bangkok Airways for a US-based investor.
Ongoing engagements included fleet-related restructuring advisory services for Azul Brazilian Airlines as part of its Chapter 11 process, financing for Avelo Airlines’ E195-E2 aircraft, aircraft and engine-related advisory work for Flair Airlines, engine maintenance solutions for an EMEA ACMI carrier, remarketing of an A321-200PCF for a US-based investor, and support for a North American network airline evaluating the acquisition of on-lease aircraft.
