Delta Air Lines and Air France KLM have stopped direct flights between Malaga and New York for the winter months. Passengers now wishing to make the trip may still do so but not directly, only via Barcelona or Madrid. The route between Malaga and New York operated five times a week and was the only direct service between Andalusia and the United States.
