Qatar Airways has revealed that it has increased its stake in International Consolidated Airlines Group (IAG), parent of British Airways, Aer Lingus, Iberia and Vueling. The Gulf carrier has increased it stake from 12% to 15.01% and has stated that it “may consider increasing its stake further over time within the allowable limits”, which for a foreign investor is 49%.
