Philippine Airlines has secured the financing of pre-delivery payments (PDP) for five Airbus A350-1000 aircraft.
Natixis acted as sole mandated lead arranger and bookrunner, original lender, agent, and security trustee.
“Being our first direct financing with Philippine Airlines, this transaction marks the start of our new relationship with the national flag carrier of the Philippines,” said Natixis.
Philippine Airlines ordered nine of the aircraft type in June 2023 during the Paris Air Show.
The airline took delivery of its first A350-1000 in December last year, joining its existing fleet of A350-900s.
