Norwegian has carried 1.3 million passengers in February 2026, while its subsidiary carried 298,000. As a result, the group carried a total of 1.6 million passengers.

Norwegian's capacity was down 5% in the month, while revenue passenger kilometres (RPKs) were up 0.5%. As a result, load factor increased five percentage points to 89.5%.

“This demonstrates that our active capacity management is working well,” said Norwegian CEO Geir Karlsen. “At the same time, our unit revenues continue to strengthen, confirming the solid underlying demand in our Nordic markets.”

The company operated an average of 75 aircraft during the month.

Norwegian said it has hedged 45% of its estimated fuel consumption for the remainder of 2026 to “mitigate market volatility”.

Wideroe's capacity was down 3%, while RPKs were flat, resulting in a 2 percentage point increase in its load factor to 72.5%.
