Lufthansa to add A320neo and A350-900 to anniversary fleet

Lufthansa is expanding its 100th anniversary fleet with two additional aircraft. Both aircraft will feature the 100th anniversary livery.

The airline expects to receive an Airbus A320neo today (January 19) in Frankfurt and will enter commercial service immediately. Its first flight planned to Larnaca, Cyprus.

Additionally, an Airbus A350-900 is expected to be delivered to Munich on February 3.

The airline's first anniversary aircraft, a Boeing 787-9, was delivered on December 23 and will begin commercial service on January 20, operating its inaugural route from Frankfurt to Mumbai.

Lufthansa said its anniversary fleet will continue to grow through 2026. Three additional aircraft are slated to receive the special livery by the fall: an Airbus A380, a Boeing 747-8, and the airline’s first Airbus A350-1000, which is currently scheduled for delivery in October 2026.
