Jetstream Aviation Capital has delivered one Saab 340B passenger aircraft to Aerolíneas Sosa of La Ceiba, Honduras.
The aircraft (MSN 340B-334) was delivered on December 23, and is the third of a multi-aircraft Saab 340B commitment between Jetstream and Aerolíneas Sosa. It will be used for scheduled and chartered passenger services throughout Honduras.
Aerolíneas Sosa was founded in 1976 and is a privately owned scheduled air carrier serving four destinations in Honduras: La Ceiba, Roatan, San Pedro Sula, and Tegucigalpa.
The airline is headquartered at the Golosón International Airport in La Ceiba.
Jetstream Aviation Capital, a Miami-based regional aircraft lessor, is the world's largest owner of Saab 340 and Saab 2000 aircraft, spares, and engines.
Its portfolio of over 150 aircraft also includes the ATR 72-500/600, Cessna Caravan, and Embraer EMB-120 passenger and cargo aircraft.
