JetBlue and United expand 'Blue Sky' cooperation

JetBlue and United have expanded their ‘Blue Sky’ cooperation, allowing passengers to book flights on either carrier's websites using cash, points, or miles.

This follows the introduction of reciprocal loyalty earning and redemption in 2025, which enabled members of JetBlue and United's loyalty programmes to earn and redeem rewards across both carriers.

The expanded cooperation allows customers to book a single itinerary combining JetBlue and United flights within the same trip.

Later this year, the collaboration will include priority boarding, preferred seating, and same-day changes and standby.

Additionally, JetBlue will provide United access to slots at JFK International Airport for up to seven daily round trips at the new Terminal 6 in 2027.
