Iberia Maintenance is to maintain the two aircraft operated by the new Spanish carrier Evelop Airlines. The renewable three-year contract covers “C” checks and maintenance of airframes, parts, and the CFM56-5B4/3 engines of Evelop’s Airbus A-320 and A-330, at Iberia’s Barcelona maintenance installations.
Evelop Airlines, a charter airline based in Palma, Majorca, was founded in 2013 when the Grupo Barceló acquired the assets of Orbest Airlines. It will use the aircraft mainly for holiday charters.
