FL Technics Wheels & Brakes secures UK CAA approval to expand MRO capabilities

The UK Part-145 certification, granted in February 2026, enables the company to carry out maintenance on a range of aircraft components, including wheels, brakes and landing gear parts, within its approved scope. The approval removes previous regulatory restrictions, allowing the business to work directly with UK-based operators.

The move is expected to broaden FL Technics Wheels & Brakes’ customer base and strengthen its position in the European maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) sector. The company already operates across multiple European locations and holds EASA Part-145 certification.

The approval forms part of a wider strategy by the Vilnius head quartered parent company FL Technics Group to expand its component support capabilities and enhance regional coverage, as demand for maintenance services continues to grow.
