Eve Air Mobility has flown a full-scale prototype of its Eve aircraft for Brazilian authorities at parent company Embraer's test facility in Gaviao Peixoto.

The demonstration is part of the certification process of its electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft.

Brazil's president Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva was in attendance, along with BNDES president Aloizio Mercadante, ANAC president Tiago Chagas Faierstein, minister of science, technology and innovation Luciana Santos, and the minister of ports and airports Silvio Costa Filho.

Eve has completed 35 test flights as part of the campaign with nearly 1.5 hours of total flight time since the first conducted in December 2025.

Propulsion and battery performance are above initial expectations, while noise levels remain within its projections.

“We are advancing with discipline and consistency in our flight test campaign, reducing risk and building the foundation for future certification flights,” said Eve CEO Johann Bordais.

Eve has also completed ground testing and related activities. Certification of the aircraft will be achieved after completion of technical milestones and approval by certain regulatory authorities.
