EGYPTAIR takes delivery of first of 16 Airbus A350-900 aircraft

EGYPTAIR has taken delivery of its first of 16 Airbus A350-900 on order, the OEM said today (February 9). 

The A350 will support the airline's long-haul fleet modernisation and network expansion with new non-stop routes to destinations including the US West Coast and North Asia, from its Cairo hub. 

The airline currently operates an Airbus fleet of eight A320neos, seven A321neos, and 11 A330 family aircraft, including five A330-200P2F. 

The aircraft has a two-class configuration, including 30 business class and 310 economy class seats.
