Delta Air Lines has appointed Dan Janki as its chief operating officer, having previously served as the company's chief financial officer.
Erik Snell will take over Janki's position as CFO. Snell joined the airline 20 years ago. He previously served as EVP and chief customer experience officer at Delta.
This leadership changes come after the company's current chief operating officer and president John Laughter announced his retirement. Laughter served Delta for over three decades.
The appointments will be effective at the end of April.
Additionally, Peter Carter, who serves as chief external affairs officer, has been promoted to president.
Alain Bellemane, EVP and president - international, is assuming additional responsibilities as the chairman of Delta TechOps.
