AviLease has purchased and received two Airbus A350-900 aircraft from GOAL Aircraft Leasing, the latter said today (February 9).
The aircraft come with long-term leases attached, both with Fiji Airways.
“We are proud to welcome Fiji Airways as a new customer and partner for AviLease," said AviLease EVP & head of trading Gary O'Donnell. ”We also extend our sincere thanks to the GOAL team for their support and cooperation, which ensured that these transactions were closed smoothly and efficiently.”
“This transaction clearly demonstrates the success of the opportunistic investment strategies pursued by both equity investors,” said GOAL managing director Christian Schloemann.
The first aircraft was delivered to AviLease at the end of December and the second at the end of January 2026.
One aircraft was held by a KGAL fund, while the other was owned by a US-based investor.
