Aergo Capital has acquired one Airbus A321-200 and sold one Boeing 737-800 aircraft.
On Christmas Eve, the Dublin-based lessor announced the acquisition of an A321-231 from Aircastle (MSN 7316). The aircraft is currently on lease to Wizz Air.
Fred Browne, CEO of Aergo Capital, said the transaction strengthens its partnership with Wizz, where the lessor has now placed four aircraft.
One day earlier, Aergo Capital announced that it has sold one Boeing 737-800 aircraft to ORIX Aviation.
The 737-800 (MSN 37790) is currently on lease to Transavia France.
Smith Gambrell & Russell also acted as lead counsel to Aergo Capital on both transactions.
Aergo Capital’s current portfolio covers more than $5bn of owned and managed aircraft, with operations in more than 40 countries worldwide.
