AerFin chief commercial officer James Bennett said the global shortage of maintenance technicians in the aviation aftermarket industry is an opportunity — despite the challenges it presents.
Bennett pointed to the company's apprenticeship and early careers programmes. “The majority of our apprentices move into full-time roles within the business, helping us build a loyal, skilled, and sustainable workforce,” said Bennett.
He added that in going forward, the company is investing in its people — creating a culture and environment that can retain technicians.
Bennett said: “We're giving them the tools, the training and the trust to grow with us. Because when we support our people, they go on to support our customers — and that's how we create value beyond the expected.”
