AELS, a Netherlands-based aircraft end-of-life solutions provider, has acquired one A319-113 for teardown.
The aircraft, which was formerly operated by Air Canada, has arrived at AELS’s facility at Twente airport, the company said last week.
The engines will be removed and transferred to existing partner ASI Aero, who will “give them their next operational life”, AELS said.
The airframe will be disassembled and high-quality components will be prepared for resale and reuse.
