Porter Airlines has appointed Rob Palmer as its new CFO. Palmer will be responsible for budgeting, capital requirements, internal controls, long-term planning, reporting, and treasury. Palmer was most recently vice president, commercial, strategy and CFO for Calgary Airport Authority. His previous experience also includes working as vice president of WestJet. “Rob has a clear understanding of airport operations and airline finances, and we expect to benefit from his knowledge in these areas,” said Porter Air CEO Michael Deluce. “His time at WestJet came during a period when it was quickly expanding, similar to today’s situation at Porter as we develop
