Ethiopian Airlines has funded the acquisition of two 777 freighters using a $41.4 million seven-year junior loan facility from sole arranger and lender ING Capital. The senior debt is supported by Ex-Im Bank and was provided by another unidentified financial institution as co-arranger. The financing closed concurrently with the delivery of the first aircraft on October 31, with the second aircraft due to arrive in Addis Ababa today.
