It is being widely reported that Qatar Airways is soon to announce an order for  up to 50 Boeing 777X freighters, with some predicting the announcement to be made when US President Joe Biden meets the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani, on January 31 in Washington. Last year, during the Dubai Airshow, Akbar Al Baker, CEO of Qatar, said that Boeing had made an offer for the new cargo aircraft, but the deal was delayed.
