Turkish Airlines has announced its second European route connecting Istanbul to Katowice. This is the airline’s second destination in Poland after Warsaw. Apart from Katowice, Turkish also plans to start a service connecting tourist attraction Krakow, subject to market access. The flights will commence on March 3, 2023 and will be scheduled five times a week till July 2023, when the schedule will be one flight per week. The airline plans to use A320 for the service. Considering the codeshare with LOT Polish Airlines, it increases the weekly flights to three times.
