Speaking at the Airports Council International annual conference, Norwegian Air chief executive Bjorn Kjos, who owns 25% of the carrier, confirmed that the airline was now reaching a size where it can begin to generate profit, and added that he would not block a sale if other shareholders supported it. Kjos stated that Norwegian had not sought a buyer but the fact that airlines are interested is a good thing and a demonstration that the airline is “doing something right”.
