Himalayan Jet, backed by Boeing plans to launch commercial flights by September 2023

Himalaya Jet, a new UK-based start-up is planning for a commercial launch towards the end of 2023 by positioning itself as a premium service provider of long-haul flights to Nepal and India from Europe and eventually expanding to US and even Australia. Himalayan Jet as the name suggests aims to reduce the cumbersome transit while traveling to the Himalayan Regions by offering better direct connectivity. Himalaya Jet’s aviation journey is being supported by Boeing, that played host to a visit from the Gurung family, a conglomerate from Nepal. The family is a majority stakeholder in Himalaya Jet.
