GOL announces near-14% jump in passenger numbers

GOL’s passenger traffic increased 13.8% year-on-year in February to almost 2.3 million. The Brazilian carrier, which the same day announced a major financing deal and which on March 8 will publish annual financial results, said demand in terms of revenue passenger kilometers increased by 17% for a load factor of 82.6%. Over 2 million of the passengers recorded travelled domestically.
