Air Canada has launched the first nonstop flight between Canada and Singapore. The flight will operate from the airline’s Vancouver International Airport (YVR) hub and will operate at four times. “These new Singapore flights are part of our strategic expansion at YVR, which together with an efficient and seamless in-transit connection process, further position the airport as the preferred North American gateway to Asia,” said Air Canada executive vice president, revenue and network planning Mark Galardo. The Vancouver-Singapore route is operated on its 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft.
