Ireland’s flag carrier Aer Lingus on December 12 announced its “biggest ever” summer offering to UK customers, putting a “record-breaking 2.25 million seats” to North America up for sale. The airline said it would have 72% more room on board its Manchester-New York flights after switching aircraft to the wide-body Airbus A330, meaning 270,ooo more seats can be made available in 2023.
