Res2, the Netherlands-based ground handling IT company, and Travelport, the travel commerce platform, have announced a new multi-year agreement with Havaş Ground Handling for deployment of the industry leading iPort DCS (departure control system). Havaş, one of Turkey’s largest ground handling companies, will utilize the web-based iPort DCS, developed in collaboration between Res2 and Travelport to optimize aircraft and passenger handling, to support more than 200 airlines at 28 airports located throughout Turkey, as well as at airports in Latvia and Saudi Arabia.
