Schiphol Airport in Amsterdam recorded 5.1 million passengers flew in April 2023, a 16% year-on-year increase. “The amount [sic] of flights to and from Schiphol was 36,258”, the airport announced. The number of flights was an increase of 8% compared to April 2022. The most popular countries  were Great Britain, Spain, Italy and the US, the airport said. Around 1.8 million of the passengers were transferring via Schiphol. Around 3.6 million of the passengers travelled with Europe, with London, Istanbul, Barcelona, Milan and  Dublin the most popular destinations.
