Travellers out of Glasgow Airport have faced flight delays and cancellations after sections of the terminal were closed at around 6 am on December 5 due to what police said was a “report of a suspicious item”. The airport reopened at around noon the same day, but only after the check-in and central search areas were closed for several hours in what the airport said was “an ongoing incident”.
