Singapore’s Changi Airport has expanded its link to all South Asian cities to the pre-pandemic level and is witnessing the daily traffic of more than twice the number that passed through the airport when Singapore first reopened its borders in April 2022. Recently the airport added Pune in Maharashtra, India to its network. The airport has been re-established in view of a strong rebound in passenger traffic and currently handles around 150,000 passengers daily and a million a week, which is 75% of what it handled in 2019, according to Transport Minister S.
