An Icelandair aircraft and Korean Air aircraft were involved in a minor collision on the Heathrow airport runway last night. The emergency services were deployed almost immediately and there were no injuries. The incident is being investigated as to how the mishap occurred. Eyewitnesses have revealed that the wingtip of the planes collided. Footage of the incident circulated on social media. The incident happened at 7.53 pm yesterday and Heathrow has confirmed the crash took place but that it was not a “full-on” collision. According to reports on social media, the crash involved Korean Air 777 flight KE908 and Icelandair 767.
