Air Canada recorded a load factor of 87.9% in August, which was just above 87.8% in August 2011. Traffic at Air Canada increased by 0.7%, while capacity rose 0.6%. Load factor on its domestic traffic rose by 1.2%, while on US transborder flights, it increased by just half a percentage point. The Atlantic market declined by 1.5%, with load factors on routes to Australia, Caribbean, Mexico and Central and South America market rose 1%.
