North Shore Rescue has found debris and detected the smell of aviation fuel on Vancouver’s North Shore believed to be from the missing Carson Air Flight 66. The air and sea rescue service is continuing to search an area north of the North Needle in Lynn Headwaters Regional Park, in deep snow and deteriorating weather conditions. The twin-engine SA-266 Metro II aircraft with two pilots on board was last seen by air traffic control in the mountains 10 kilometres north of Vancouver.
