ASUR reports 5.5 million passengers for February 2023

Airport operator ASUR’s February 2023 passenger traffic came to 5.5 million, 23.9% above what the Americas-focused group reported for February 2022. Passenger traffic increased year-on-year by 25.6% in Mexico, 21.7% in Colombia and 20.5% in Puerto Rico. The growth of traffic in Mexico, Colombia and Puerto Rico was mainly down to increases in domestic traffic of 29.3%, 16.8% and 18.1%, respectively, and in international traffic of 22.9%, 51.3% and 50.3%, the operator said. However the February 2023 number fell short of the 6.3 million passengers recorded the month before.
