Airlink is currently helping its partners respond to the 7.8 magnitude earthquake in Nepal that devastated the cities of Kathmandu and Pokhara at noon local time on Saturday, April 25. Between 700 and 1,200 people were reportedly killed with the total expected to climb as search and rescue continues. The numbers of injured, missing, and affected is still unknown. Hospitals are at capacity and many patients are being treated in the streets, with medical supplies quickly dwindling.
