UAC hints at new long range passenger aircraft

Yury Slusar president of Russia’s United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) has indicated that Russia and China may invest US$13 billion into the development of a long-range passenger aircraft project. The aircraft would be built in cooperation with the Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China (COMAC) and financed equally. The aircraft’s preliminary design is expected later this year.
