Boeing’s biggest union has filed with the NLRB for a vote on unionizing 2,500 production workers at the company’s South Carolina plant, where the 787 Dreamliner is assembled. The NLRB will need to review the filing to determine if the requirements for a unionization vote have been met; 30% of the workers in a potential union bargaining unit must sign authorization cards for an election to be held.
